Profile:

Seren Books wanted a trailer to promote their latest publication, The Stromness Dinner—the compelling new novel by Peter Benson. We set to work devising a way to promote the novel with a trailer that was as cinematic as the novel’s unique setting of Stromness, Orkney.

Our in-house writer digested the novel and came up with an approach to the trailer that was more in line with the aesthetics of the opening credits of a high-end TV drama than a traditional book trailer.

Our team thrived on translating this charming work of prose to the screen and distilling the essence of the relationship between the central characters of Ed and Claire into a memorable trailer.

The Stromness Dinner is available online and in bookshops now: https://bit.ly/3n3GsdQ
